As I do every year, I am taking part again in this year’s Challenge. It is an opportunity for me to go ‘back to basics’ and to remind myself of what needs to be done in a successful business, in this case, specifically an internet business. (Yes, they do exist!)
So what exactly is The Challenge?
The Challenge was originally known as the 30 Day Challenge and it was designed to take students from no knowledge to their first dollar in sales within 30 days.
Now, if you’re think one dollar, whoopee-doo, then I’d like to venture that you’re missing the point. This is not a get rich quick scheme. They cost more to get involved with!
This is a training programme with a defined, achievable end goal. But the goal is pretty much as immaterial as a dollar might sound, in terms of the programme. Because the programme – The Challenge – is all about learning the process steps, and understanding the sequence, in order to build the right framework for a potentially successful internet business.
The other thing to say about the dollar is that it represents the most tangible record of achievement for following the process. And, in that context, it represents not just an end point for The Challenge, but also a start point for making a second, third, hundredth, thousandth, and so on, dollar.
If you can make a dollar, you can make ten. If you can make ten dollars, you can make a hundred. If you can make a hundred dollars, well, you get the picture…
But please, let’s not think about money right now. This is a practical training course headed up by some of the shrewdest (and geekiest!) internet players around. Ed, Dan and Gurubob – amongst many others – know their shit. And they all started by making a dollar.
So did Branson, Trump, Sugar… and Bisogno 😉
If you’ve ever wanted to know how to start an internet business, start the Challenge today.
Getting Started with The Challenge
When you decide you’re going to start The Challenge, one of the first things you’re likely to feel is overwhelm. Where do I start? Sheesh, this looks like a lot of stuff to do. Man, I’m getting behind, I’ll never catch up.
Nonsense. Poppycock. Baloney. Bullsh…. crackers.
It’s just not true. How many successful business people do you think started their venture trying to win a race?
It’s not a race. Nor is it a beauty contest. It is a test of your stickability. It will be a test of your patience from time to time (that’s why I’m here!).
And it is a test of your ability and desire to finish what you started. Because, as I always tell my own students, ‘you only ever get paid at the end’.
Oh yes, and it’s a community and a lot of fun too.
There are thousands of people doing The Challenge at the moment, from all over the world, with all sorts of backgrounds. Older than you (even if you’re 90), younger than you (even if you’re eleven), smarter than you, dumber than you, with less time than you, or more time; with less money than you, or more.
All. Sorts. Do. This. And all sorts complete this. And all sorts go on from their small first successes to bigger things, some of them to much bigger things.
If you want to do this, and you’re prepared to surprise yourself, then join up with me today!
Where should you be with The Challenge right now?
If you wanted to learn golf, you’d be well advised to buy a glove, and maybe your own set of clubs. But that’s quite an investment if you’re not sure whether you’ll enjoy it.
The same with playing footy – boots, shin pads, etc. Or fishing. Or whatever.
So it is with The Challenge. You need a few tools and bits of kit to help you achieve the goals. But, unlike the activities above, you can get all of the required apparatus for no charge.
And the details are all in the ‘Pre-Challenge’, which is where we all start The Challenge. If you’ve already registered, go straight here to get to the pre-Challenge lessons:
If you haven’t registered yet, it’s quite important to do that so you can get the official context, rather than the Matt Bisogno version. Obviously my unofficial version is excellent (ahem), but it’s not quite so excellent as getting it from the horse’s mouth, so to speak.
So, sign up here for The Challenge, and I’ll be back soon with further news of my own progress.
In the meantime, if you’re struggling with anything, feel free to leave a comment and I’ll do what I can to help. Alternatively, you can use the Challenge Forum, which can be found here.
What are you waiting for? We’ve got a dollar to make!!! 😀
